Every XPlug A1 charger comes equipped with a generous 7-metre integrated charging cable as standard, giving you greater flexibility when parking and connecting your vehicle. The extended length makes it much more convenient to charge and easier to reach the charge port regardless of driveway layout or vehicle position, reducing the need to reposition your car. Unlike other chargers, we supply this extended length charging cable straight out of the box, without any additional upgrade costs.

The XPlug A1 has been designed to make installation straightforward for electricians. The incoming supply cable connects directly into a secure screwless terminal, allowing fast and reliable wiring without the need for traditional terminal screws. For additional convenience, the charger features integrated PEN fault protection, removing the requirement for a separate earth rod in most installations. It also includes built-in 6 mA DC leakage detection, allowing installers to use a standard Type A RCD or RCBO rather than a more expensive Type B device. These integrated protections simplify installation, reduce additional components, and help keep overall installation costs lower.
